If you send a project inquiry or contact me, Website Bakery may receive your name, email address, optional phone number, website address, information about your project, and how you found the studio. You decide what to include.

If you use Ovie, the AI assistant, the words you type into the chat may be processed to respond to your question. Please do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive details in the form or chat.

When you visit the site, technical information such as browser type, pages visited, device information, and approximate location inferred from network information may be processed by website infrastructure or enabled analytics tools.

How information is used

Information may be used to:

• reply to your questions and project requests;
• prepare estimates and discuss possible work;
• provide, maintain, and protect the website and related services;
• understand website performance and improve the visitor experience when optional analytics are enabled.

I do not use your project inquiry as permission to publish your business information or add you to a marketing mailing list.

Ovie, the AI assistant

Ovie can answer general questions about Website Bakery. To create a reply, chat messages may be sent to the AI technology provider that powers the assistant. Do not use Ovie to share confidential project credentials or sensitive personal information.

AI-generated replies can be mistaken. For a question that needs a personal answer, you can contact me directly using the email below.

Service providers and international processing

To operate the site and respond to inquiries, information may be handled by website hosting, email, analytics, and AI service providers. These services may process data in different countries. I do not sell personal information.

The inquiry form uses hCaptcha to help prevent spam. hCaptcha may process device and network information when you use the form.

External websites linked from Website Bakery have their own privacy practices. Please review their notices when visiting them.

How long information is kept

Contact and project information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a working relationship, meet applicable obligations, or resolve issues. Different service providers may apply their own retention schedules.
